Lecturer — EECE Department
2024 – Present
An-Najah National University  ·  Nablus, Palestine
Back home after my Chevening year, I brought everything I learned to my students. I designed a brand new course — Special Topics in Cybersecurity — from scratch, got it ABET-accredited, and taught it alongside networks and computer architecture to over 700 undergraduates. I also founded the NCPC competitive programming community and helped students land internships in the UK and UAE.

Research Assistant
10/2025 – 01/2026
University of Warwick  ·  Coventry, UK
Continued my research collaboration with Dr. Hany Atlam at Warwick, focusing on network vulnerabilities and defence mechanisms. I designed a full enterprise network architecture using VLANs, firewalls, and ACLs, and delivered hands-on sessions to 170+ MSc students using Cisco Packet Tracer.

Teaching Assistant — AI Security Bootcamp
08/2025 – 09/2025
AISB, funded by Open Philanthropy  ·  London, UK
One of the most exciting experiences of my career. I assisted at a specialist bootcamp on securing frontier AI systems — covering threat modelling, adversarial attacks, LLM security, and AI control. The participants were brilliant technical researchers, and the red/blue team exercises were intense.

Cybersecurity Lecturer
11/2023 – 01/2025
University College Birmingham  ·  Birmingham, UK
While studying for my MSc at Warwick, I was also teaching cybersecurity at UCB — project planning, programming, and digital forensics to second-year students. Designing the materials and watching students grow is genuinely one of the best parts of this work.

iOS Developer
03/2022 – 11/2022
Restaurant365  ·  California, USA (Remote)
My first industry role — building an iOS app in Swift with UIKit. I worked in an Agile team using JIRA, contributed to UI/UX design in Figma, and helped push a 50% increase in app users through feature improvements. A fast-paced, real-world taste of product development.

Research Intern — C++ Developer
06/2021 – 03/2022
Synchrotron SOLEIL, CNRS / Paris-Saclay University  ·  Orsay, France
Selected from 150+ students via the Erasmus+ scholarship to intern at one of France's leading research labs. I extended the CADNA library for gamma-ray detection experiments and built C++ software to control scientific measurement hardware. A deep dive into computational physics and precision engineering.
